Technical Articles ID:  KB53502
Last Modified:  07/27/2012

Environment

McAfee GroupShield 7.0 for Lotus Domino
For information on all supported operating systems, see KB51109

Summary

Examples of when a manual DAT and Engine update procedure is required are as follows:

  • The DAT and Engine are out of sync to such a degree that scheduled updates fail.
  • A recent DAT update has failed, leaving a mismatched set of files in the GroupShield for Domino folder.
  • The DAT file was corrupted while being downloaded.
  • Running the SuperDAT fails due to a missing file or registry keys.
