Use the following steps to completely remove SaaS Endpoint Protection before reinstalling it:

  1. Download the uninstall utility (MVSUninst.exe) from http://vs.mcafeeasap.com/mc/vs60/data/mvsuninst.exe, and save it to your desktop.
  2. Clean up Internet Explorer as follows:
    1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, Internet Options, General.
    2. Under Browsing History, click Delete, and then do the following: 
      1.  Click Delete Files, and click Yes when prompted.
      2.  Click Delete Cookies, and click Yes when prompted.
      3.  Click Delete History, and click Yes when prompted.
      4.  Click Close.
    3. Under Browsing History, click Settings, and then do the following:
      1. Click View objects, right-click SecureObjectFactory, and select Remove.
      2. Click Yes when prompted to confirm removal.
      3. Close the objects window if necessary, click in the Internet options window, and then click OK.
    4. Select the Advanced tab, click Restore advanced settings, and click Apply.
    5. Select the Security tab, click Default Level, and click Apply.
    6. Click OK in the Security Settings dialog, and click Yes when prompted.
    7. Click OK and close Internet Explorer.
  3. Run the MVSUninst.exe utility.
  4. Restart your computer when prompted.
