The solution is to configure client systems to use the correct IP address for ePO server or Remote Agent Handlers that use more than one NIC.
For client systems to know which IP address to use when connecting to the ePO server or Remote Agent Handlers, you must configure a
Published IP address in the ePO console.
- Log on to the ePO console and select Menu>Configuration>Agent Handlers, to configure the master Handler on the ePO server or Remote Handlers.
- Click the Agent Handlers number in the Handler Status of the dashboard. A list of your Agent Handlers and their detailed information is displayed.
- To configure Agent Handler Settings, click the Agent Handler name in the Handler DNS Name column.
- In the Published IP address field, enter the correct IP address of the NIC that client systems can connect with.
If client systems already use the incorrect IP address to connect to their Agent Handlers, and they do not have failover handlers that they can successfully connect to, you might need to redeploy the McAfee Agent to these systems.
