"Write Failed" when burning encrypted CDs or DVDs with Roxio Drag-to-Disc

When you try to burn to the CD or DVD using Roxio Drag-to-Disc, you see the following error:

Write Failed

You see this error after you enable the FRP policy option Enforce Encryption of CD/DVD Write operations.

The Drag-to-Disc implementation bypasses FRP controls.

The Drag-to-Disc feature is no longer included in Roxio 10.3. This feature has never been supported.

Drag-to-Disc (formerly DirectCD) is packet writing software.
