On-Demand Scans for VirusScan for Linux show exclusions despite none being configured
技術文章 ID:
KB71405
上次修改: 8/3/2015 環境McAfee VirusScan for Linux (VSEL) 1.9.x
問題On-Demand Scans for VSEL list exclusions despite none being configured.
Viewing the System Events for a Scheduled On-Demand Scan lists excluded files when no list of exclusions has been configured. 系統變更The entire root file system on a Linux server has been scanned by an On-Demand Scan using VSEL with no exclusions configured.
原因The root file system also includes special files (such as sockets and devices, in the case of the /proc and /sys partitions). The On-Demand Scanner excludes these as they cannot be scanned.
解決方案This is expected behavior. These files are handled as exclusions because they cannot be scanned.
