Resolution: Resolved in VSE 8.8 Patch 2, which is available from the McAfee Downloads site using a valid Grant Number.

Issue: The Lotus Notes client version 8.0 and later can crash when the Notes Scanner feature is installed while upgrading to VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.7i. This scanner does not support the multi-threaded improvements of the newer Notes revisions.  
Solution: Resolved with VSE 8.7i Patch 5 Hotfix 699989. This makes the Lotus Notes Scanner code thread-safe, allowing non-disruptive processing in the multi-threaded environment of Lotus Notes Client version 8.0 and later.

643450 - Issue: When you access the Actions tab properties of an On-Demand Scan task, the Secondary action for Unwanted Program settings might be enabled even when the primary action is set to Continue scanning or Prompt for user action.
Resolution: Resolved with VSE 8.7i Patch 5 Hotfix 643450. Refer to the article for the hotfix details.

Issue: If VSE 8.7i is performing a scan when an update occurs, the scanner might time out while the update finishes.
Resolution: Resolved with VSE 8.7i Hotfix 638179. Refer to the article for the hotfix details.

560852 KB66811 Issue: Checkpoint VPN Client compliance fails when VirusScan Enterprise 8.7i is installed.
