Affter you upgrade to Internet Explorer (IE) 9.0, you are prompted to add the SiteAdvisor Toolbar browser toolbar
You see the following message:

The 'McAfee SiteAdvisor Toolbar' add-on from McAfee Inc, is ready for use.                   Enable       Don't enable


This action is prompted by IE 9. This is the first IE release to prompt users to enable newly installed Browser Helper Objects, such as the SiteAdvisor toolbar.

  • Do not run a .REG file that is not confirmed to be a genuine registry import file.

To keep the prompt from appearing add the following registry keys:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Approved Extensions]
You can use the attached file to add the above keys. Download and decompress stop_prompt.zip. Double-click stop_prompt.reg to apply the changes.

Select Enable to activate SiteAdvisor Enterprise after installing IE 9.
