As Microsoft releases new operating systems or Service Packs, the original McAfee Product Guides might not reflect the current McAfee support policy for those platforms. Most of the following information is available in the Product Installation Guides and Readme.txt files. However, some of the information is available only in Product Management statements published in the McAfee KnowledgeBase.

McAfee product software, upgrades, maintenance releases, and documentation are available from the McAfee Downloads site at: http://www.mcafee.com/us/downloads/downloads.aspx.

You will need a valid Grant Number for access. KB56057 provides additional information about the McAfee Downloads site, as well as alternate locations for some products.

NOTE: With the release of Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders (EEFF) 4.0, McAfee made changes to allow Key Encipherment as a certificate type. This allows a certificate type of either Data Encipherment, Key Encipherment, or both to be used with these versions and later. For details, see KB79286.
