Windows doesn't recognize a removable encrypted USB HDD when reconnecting it on a system running Host IPS 8.0

Problem 1Encrypted USB stick drives aren't mounting correctly on systems running Host IPS 8.0 when they're reinserted a second time. A disconnect and reconnect must occur during the same user log on session.
NOTE: This issue is intermittent and vendor specific. Problem 2Encrypted USB sticks can't be mounted as a DVD/CD-ROM drive.
Additional devices can't be mounted as a DVD/CD-ROM drive. CauseThis issue occurs because of the following:
Analysis determines there are three variants of encrypted USB drive issues. Each can be experienced concurrently or independently on Windows operating systems. These issues are timing and image specific and can occur with or without Host IPS installed:
SolutionThis issue is timing dependant and can occur intermittently in dependant environments.
We recommend that users experiencing this issue apply Host IPS 8.0 Patch 4 (see KB78494 - Host Intrusion Prevention 8.0 Patch 4 Known Issues) or later updates to see if it resolves the issue. NOTE: If the issue persists after applying the latest Host IPS patch update, contact your USB drive vendor for further analysis.
