Cause

The following Master Repository keys are corrupt in c:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Keystore:
  • sm2048EPOServerName.zip
  • smEPOServerName.zip

Solution

Delete the corrupt keys and restart the ePO Application Server service:
  1. Click Start, Run, type explorer, and click OK.
  2. Make a backup copy of the c:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Keystore directory and place it in a backup folder.
  3. Delete the following files in the c:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Keystore directory:

    • sm2048EPOServerName.zip
    • smEPOServerName.zip

  4. Click Start, Run, type services.msc, and click OK.
  5. Right-click the McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Application Server service and click Restart.
  6. Check to ensure that the new files (sm2048EPOServerName.zip and smEPOServerName.zip) were recreated in c:\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\DB\Keystore
  7. Ensure the ePO console screen loads properly.
