To manually remove MACC Agent for UNIX-based operating systems after failed or partial uninstalls, do the following:
- Type the following command: sadmin disable
- Restart the system, if needed, for example, if it was not already disabled.
- Stop the scsrvc service by typing the following command and pressing Enter:
/usr/local/mcafee/solidcore/scripts/scsrvc stop
- For Linux and Solaris systems, type the following command and press Enter:
/usr/local/mcafee/solidcore/tools/cleanup_inventory
- Unload the Solidcore plug-in by typing the command for the applicable operating system and pressing Enter:
- AIX: /usr/sbin/cma unload SOLIDCOR5000_AIX
- HP-UX: /sbin/init.d/cma unload SOLIDCOR5000_HPX
- Linux: /etc/init.d/cma unload SOLIDCOR5000_LNX
- Solaris: /etc/init.d/cma unload SOLIDCOR5000_SLR
- Remove the Solidcore Service by typing the command for the applicable operating system and pressing Enter:
- AIX: rmitab solidcore
- Linux: chkconfig --del scsrvc
- Solaris 5.10: svccfg -v delete -f scsrvc; rm -f /var/svc/log/system-scsrvc\:default.log
- Remove the Solidcore drivers by typing the command for the applicable operating system and pressing Enter:
- HP-UX 11.11: kminstall -d scdrv; rm -f /dev/scdrv
- HP-UX 11.23, 11.31: kcmodule -Kv scdrv=uninstall; rm -f /dev/scdrv
- Solaris: rem_drv scdrv
- Remove the Solidcore package by typing the command for the applicable operating system and pressing Enter:
- AIX]: installp -u solidcoreS3
- HP-UX: swremove -x mount_all_filesystems=false solidcoreS3
- Linux: rpm -e solidcoreS3 --noscripts && rpm -e solidcoreS3-kmod --noscripts
- Solaris: pkgrm -n solidcoreS3
- Type each of the following removal commands, pressing Enter after each one:
- rm -rf /etc/mcafee/solidcore
- rm -rf /var/log/mcafee/solidcore
- rm -rf /usr/local/mcafee/solidcore
- rm -rf /opt/bitrock/solidcoreS3-*
- rm -f /tmp/solidcore.log
- rm -f /tmp/.scsrvc-lock
- rm -rf /mcafee/
- rm -rf /usr/sbin/sadmin
