An incorrect count displays in the vCenter Summary page for Number of virtual machines available. The setting is found under Menu, Registered Cloud accounts.
You see this issue after adding
vApp to the
vCenter.
NOTE: This issue is only with the first summary screen that displays, before the discovery actually begins.
Example:
- Create a vCenter account without vApp added in ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
- You notice the value of Number of virtual machines available in the vCenter Summary page is incorrect. The correct values are shown for both the total number of virtual machines (VMs) and the templates.
- But, if you add a vCenter account with vApp added, you see the value for the number of virtual machines available is not correctly updated. The count displayed is more than the total number of VMs and the templates.
