McAfee investigated this issue and a solution is currently available. This solution is currently not generally available, but is in Released to Support (RTS) status. To obtain the RTS build, log on to the ServicePortal and create a Service Request (https://support.mcafee.com/ServicePortal/faces/serviceRequests/createSR). Include this article number in the Problem Description field.
Intel® and Apple Silicon (using Rosetta emulation) are supported from FRP 5.3.1.
5
Before installing FRP 5.4.0 or later, 64-bit Windows 7 systems need to have SHA256/SHA-2 code signing update installed. For more information about these updates, refer to the Microsoft KBs: KB4474419 & KB4490628.
The following tables identify the McAfee products supported for use on Windows workstation and server operating systems. Only the most current versions are included, because most customers upgrade to the latest service packs shortly after they are released.
Microsoft Windows server-supported operating systems
Terminal Server support is restricted to Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 environments. IMPORTANT:For additional information related to support in a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environment, see below.
