Microsoft Windows – all supported versions ProblemA file can run from a File Allocation Table (FAT) formatted DVD-RAM disk.
MACC prevents the execution of files from removable disks such as USB, CD, and DVD. This prevention happens by default because UDFS and CDFS are not included in the list of supported file systems. Running or executing files from removable disk is supported when:
If a DVD is formatted to use the FAT file system, MACC does not prevent the execution of files in Enable mode. It does not matter if there is a trusted configuration is in place. MACC still allows the execution to take place.
SolutionThis issue is resolved in MACC 6.1.2.394 and later.
