McAfee Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders (EEFF) 4.0 and 4.0.1

Intel Security announces End of Sale (EOS) and End of Life (EOL) for EEFF 4.0.x.

End of Sale and End of Life
  • On December 31, 2014, 4.0.x reached the EOS stage. As of this date this product was not available for purchase.
  • On June 30, 2015, 4.0.x will reach the EOL stage. As of this date Intel Security will no longer provide technical support for these versions.    

Customers can still purchase/upgrade to a later version of EEFF/FRP and continue receiving support. Please refer to the respective Product Guide for more details on the upgrade process.

NOTE: Endpoint Encryption for Files and Folders is now known as File and Removable Media Protection (FRP). The first release to adopt the new product name is FRP 4.3. For the FRP supported environments, see KB81149.
