McAfee Application Control (MAC) 6.1.x

Technical Support updated its code-signing certificate. All McAfee product binaries released on or after October 9, 2014 are signed with the new certificate.

To ensure proper functioning of McAfee products on endpoints protected by MAC, add the new certificate as a trusted publisher.

NOTE: This article should be followed only for MAC extension 6.1.x versions. The new certificate is already embedded in MAC 6.1.3-HF6.

To apply the new certificate:
  1. Download and save the file McAfee+Publisher.xml, located in the Attachment section of this article.
  2. Log on to the ePO console.
  3. Click MenuConfigurationSolidcore Rules.
  4. Import rule groups:
    1. Click Import.
    2. Browse to the McAfee+Publisher.xml file, select Override Duplicate Groups, and click OK.
