Microsoft Windows (all supported versions)

Problem

McAfee Application Control and Change Control installation fails if the Documents and Settings folder exists on a non-system drive. For example, if Windows is installed on the c:\ drive, but Document and Settings exists on a drive other than c:\, the installation will not continue.

Solution

This issue is resolved in MAC/MCC 6.1.3.393, which is available by contacting Technical Support.

To contact Technical Support, log on to the ServicePortal and go to the Create a Service Request page at https://support.mcafee.com/ServicePortal/faces/serviceRequests/createSR:
  • If you are a registered user, type your User Id and Password, and then click Log In.
  • If you are not a registered user, click Register and complete the required fields. Your password and logon instructions will be emailed to you.
