  KB89853 8.0.3   Issue: Firewall for Linux does not start on a Debian-based Linux system after upgrade/installation to Endpoint Security for Linux 10.2.2.

Workaround: Manually start the firewall. See the related article for more information.
1186628 KB89322 8.0.0 8.0.2 Issue: After you reboot the system, the Firewall for Linux service does not start automatically. You can manually start the Firewall for Linux service and then Firewall for Linux works as expected. This issue occurs only with McAfee Agent 5.0.x; the issue does not occur with McAfee Agent 4.8.x.

Workaround: Increase the time to wait for macompatsvc to start. See the related article for more information.

Resolution: This issue is resolved in Firewall for Linux 8.0.2.
1031391   8.0.0 Host IPS 8.0 Patch 6 Issue: Common Product Family ID for Firewall for Linux and Host IPS allows a user to select only one product in the Details Property page.  

Resolution: This issue is resolved in the updated Host IPS 8.0 Patch 6 extension, version 8.0.6. For Host IPS 8.0 Patch 6 known issues and Release Notes, see KB70778.
1020576   8.0.0   Issue: Fully Qualified Domain Name based rules rely on DNS communication. DNS server availability may introduce delays in enforcing policy and may result in a timeout.
1035611   8.0.0   Issue: Firewall for Linux fails to add a firewall rule for an IP address associated with a NIC card going down and coming back up again on a system with multiple NIC cards.
1035602   8.0.0   Issue: After uninstalling VirusScan Enterprise for Linux, the Firewall for Linux process must be restarted for the command line interface to work.

Workaround: Restart the Functional Module Platform (FMP) for Linux using the following command:
/opt/McAfee/fmp/bin/mfefmpdControl.sh restart
