Cause

The agent-to-server communication port or agent-to-server communication secure port was changed, but the httpd.conf file still lists the old port.

Solution

Ensure that the httpd.conf file contains the correct agent-to-server communication port and agent-to-server communication secure port:
  1. Navigate to: ...\Program Files\McAfee\ePolicy Orchestrator\Apache2\conf.
  2. Open httpd.conf with Notepad and change the following lines to reflect the new port number:

    For the agent-to-server communication port:

    Listen 80
    ServerName<YourServerName>: 80

    If using VirtualHosts, change:

    NameVirtualHost *:80
    <VirtualHost *:80>

For the agent-to-server communication secure port:

    Listen 443

  3. Save the file and exit Notepad.
  4. Restart the ePO services:
    1. Press Windows+R, type services.msc, and click OK.
    2. Right-click the following services and select Restart:

McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Application Server
      McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Server
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Event Parser
