Workaround: Start the EIA service manually if the service is not running. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\McAfee\Endpoint Intelligence Agent\x64 and execute the command mmsinfo.exe –start eiaservice.
Resolution: This issue is resolved in EIA 2.6.0.

Workaround: Go to <EIA_installation_folder>\<x86/x64>\and run mmsinfo.exe -start eiaservice to start the EIA service manually. Then, click Start, Services, select EIA-ePO Communicator, and click Start the service. In an EIA-MVT environment, from ePO, run McAfee Virtual Technician (MVT) to start the process.
