To allow DLP Endpoint to preserve the tag when you copy the tagged files, create an
ODB$ share folder with full permissions in the Removable USB media:

- Create a folder with the name ODB.
- Right-click the ODB folder and select Properties.
- Click the Sharing tab, and then click Advanced sharing. Select the Share this folder option.

- Click the Security tab, and then click Advanced.
- Click Add to select an object type.
- In the Enter the object name to select field, type the host name of the computer, and then click OK. The Permission Entry dialog box appears.

- Verify that the Apply onto option has both of the following selected, and then click OK:
- This folder
- Subfolders and files
The Advanced Security Settings window now includes the host name of the computer.
- Click Add again to select an object type.
- In the Enter the object name to select field, type the user name for the logged-in user on to the computer. Click OK. The Permission Entry dialog box appears.
