This article describes how to submit samples when you want to dispute a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) detection.

This process is relevant to software development companies that believe their product has been incorrectly classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program, for example Adware or Spyware.


If you believe that your product has been incorrectly classified as a PUP, complete the Detection Dispute Submission Form:


NOTE: This procedure is intended for software developers and software producers as mentioned above. Do not confuse it with procedures for submitting other false detections or interoperability issues.
