Cause

DE 7.x has detected the components of an incompatible product and prevents the system from being activated.

Solution

Uninstall the incompatible product to allow DE to activate.

Option 1 (client side)
  1. Open the Endpoint Encryption MfeEpe.log log file and identify the incompatible software,
  2. From the Windows Add/Remove Programs, uninstall the product.
After you remove the third-party product, DE will activate and report back to the ePolicy Orchestrator server on the next Agent to Server Communication Interval (ASCI).

Option 2 (server side)
  1. Log on to the ePO server.
  2. Click Menu, Configuration, Server Settings, Endpoint Encryption.
  3. In the right pane click Manage non compatible products.
You then see a list of the currently detected Incompatible products.
