ATD stores VMDK and IMG files, which consume large amounts of drive space. Use the following steps to delete VMDK and IMG files that you no longer need.
Delete an IMG file:
- Log on to the ATD manager.
- Navigate to Policy, VM Profile.
- Click New.
- In the Image drop-down list, select the IMG file you want to delete.
- Click Delete, and confirm that you want to delete the file.
- Click OK on the Success Image deleted dialog box.
- Click Cancel. The next time you click New in VM Profile, you will not see the deleted IMG file in the Image drop-down list.
Delete a VMDK File:
- Log on to the ATD CLI using the cliadmin account.
NOTE: The default account password is: atdadmin.
- Enable FTP. Type set ftp enable, and then press Enter.
- Connect to the ATD appliance using FileZilla or an equivalent client.
NOTE: Log on to the ATD FTP service using the atdadmin credentials.
- With the FTP client, delete the VMDK file.
NOTE: For more information about how to operate your FTP client, see the product documentation.
