Subquery returned more than 1 value (when viewing the Detected Systems page in the ePolicy Orchestrator console)

Environment

McAfee Rogue System Detection 5.0.3, 5.0.2, 5.0.1, 5.0.0

Problem

When you access rogue system and exceptions data on the Detected Systems page in the ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)  console, the following pop-up error message displays:
 
Error Message: Subquery returned more than 1 value.
This is not permitted when the subquery follows =, !=, <, <= , >, >= or when the subquery is used as an expression.

Cause

There is Rogue System Detection data corruption in the ePO database.

Solution

This issue is resolved in Rogue System Detection 5.0.4, which is available from the Product Downloads site at: http://mcafee.com/us/downloads/downloads.aspx.

NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number for access. KB56057 provides additional information about the Product Downloads site, and alternate locations for some products.

Updates are cumulative; Technical Support recommends that you install the latest one.

Solution

Hotfixes are created to address specific issues and are not posted publicly, but are available by contacting Technical Support.

To contact Technical Support, log on to the ServicePortal and go to the Create a Service Request page at https://support.mcafee.com/ServicePortal/faces/serviceRequests/createSR:
  • If you are a registered user, type your User Id and Password, and then click Log In.
  • If you are not a registered user, click Register and complete the required fields. Your password and logon instructions will be emailed to you.
