You see inconsistent results after you add Application Control related columns to the System Tree and/or Threat Event pages
Technical Articles ID:   KB87461
Last Modified:  7/18/2016

Environment

McAfee Application and Change Control 7.0.x, 6.2, 6.1

Problem

When you add columns using the Choose Column option in the System Tree and/or Threat event pages to obtain the status of Application Control features using SQUIDS, you see erroneous or inconsistent results.

For example, on the Systems page, you see multiple entries for the Solidcore Client.

Solution

Do not use incompatible SQUIDs in the System Tree and/or Threat Event Pages.

When you add new columns for an endpoint, use only the recommended set of SQUIDS. The following SQUIDs are not recommended:

Page Title Non-Recommended SQUIDs
System Tree Page Non-Compliant Solidcore Clients
Self-Approval Audit Report (Deprecated)
Solidcore Binary Status on System
Solidcore Diagnostic
Solidcore File Content Change Information
Solidcore Observations (Deprecated)
Solidcore Binaries
Solidcore Applications
Binary Reputation

Threat Event page
Self-Approval Audit Report (Deprecated)
Solidcore Binary Status on System
Solidcore Diagnostic
Solidcore File Content Change Information
Solidcore Image Deviation Summary
Solidcore Observations (Deprecated)
Solidcore Binaries
