The recovery method within the FRP policy is designed for password recovery only on encrypted removable media devices. The company does
not provide recovery services or procedures when encrypted removable media devices experience a hardware failure or data corruption.
As a best practice, removable storage devices must be used only for data transfer and temporary storage. It is not for permanent data retention of critical files. A secure backup solution must be in place for all data stored on systems without redundant data protection. The backup provides permanent data retention for critical files.
If data corruption on the encrypted removable media device is reoccurring and reproducible, contact Technical Support for troubleshooting advice.
