McAfee Management for Optimized Virtual Environments (MOVE)
MOVE Antivirus (AV) Agentless 4.5, 4.0, 3.6.1

This article provides steps for reconfiguring MOVE AV Agentless after an ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) migration or re-install has been performed.

To reconfigure MOVE AV Agentless NSX after ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) has been migrated or re-installed:
  1. Make sure there is a proper MOVE – NSX (for example, MOVE AV Agentless has successfully registered with the NSX Manager and ePO NSX Service registration is successful).
    1. Launch the ePO console and navigate to the MOVE Antivirus Deployment page.
    2. Click the Service page. Confirm that the NSX Manager Service status is in a Registered state for that vCenter Cloud Account.
  2. Run the ePO server task: Disaster Recovery Snapshot Server (This internally backs up all the extension-related information in the database so that it can be recovered).
  3. When the server task has completed successfully, uninstall ePO, but make sure to retain the ePO Database for use later.
  4. Point the new ePO server to the old database from step 3.
  5. Make sure the NSX Service tab under MOVE Antivirus Deployment is properly populated and displaying as configured.
    1. In the ePO console, go to the MOVE Antivirus Deployment page.
    2. Click the Service page (the NSX Manager Service can be checked here). As soon as the new ePO server is up and running, this page should be populated with data. NSX Manager Service status should be in a Registered state in ePO for that vCenter Cloud Account.
NOTE: Make sure the new ePO server has the same IP address as the old ePO server.
Refer to KB66616 for more details on ePO migration and Disaster Recovery Procedure.
