IMPORTANT:
- While older versions of MWG for these appliances continue to work, Technical Support strongly recommends that you upgrade to the latest release.
- If you plan to upgrade the appliance BIOS, Technical Support recommends that you upgrade the MWG software version before you perform the BIOS upgrade.
- If you reimage an appliance that has BIOS version 37 or newer with an MWG version that is earlier than the recommended software version, you see a notification that the installation has failed at the end of the installation procedure:
fix it and re-run the script 'grub-install'.

Despite this error, the installation procedure has finished successfully and only restoring the BIOS settings has failed.
You can remove the installation media, boot the appliance, and continue with the Appliance Configuration Wizard, as usual.
To check your currently installed BIOS version:
- From the console:
- Type dmidecode -s bios-version and press Enter.
- View the output. For example: S1200SP.86B.02.01.0049.010220172306
- From the RMM Web interface:
- Log on to the RMM Web interface.
- Select the System Information tab. The item BIOS ID field displays the BIOS version.
For example:
