Summary

McAfee announces End of Life (EOL) for McAfee Client Proxy 2.2 including subsequent updates and hotfixes. These versions all reach EOL on October 9, 2019.
IMPORTANT: This article previously incorrectly stated a date of October 9, 2018.

McAfee previously announced End of Life for McAfee Client Proxy 2.1 and earlier, including their subsequent updates and hotfixes.
These versions all reached EOL on March 15, 2018.  
 
IMPORTANT: You must upgrade to McAfee Client Proxy 2.3 to avoid interruption of product support.

Definitions:
  • EOL period—The time frame that runs from the day McAfee announces product discontinuation, until the last date that McAfee formally supports the product. In general, after the EOL period is announced, no enhancements are made.
  • EOL date—The last day that the product is supported, according to the terms of the McAfee standard support offering.
