McAfee Client Proxy (MCP) 2.2.x, 2.1.x, 2.0.x, 1.x

Summary

McAfee announces End of Life (EOL) for McAfee Client Proxy 2.2.x and earlier, including subsequent updates and hotfixes.

As of the EOL date, McAfee will no longer provide technical support for the product version. You must upgrade to McAfee Client Proxy 2.3 to avoid interruption of product support.

The latest McAfee Client Proxy release is available from the McAfee Content Security Portal at: contentsecurity.mcafee.com/software_mwg7_tools.

Definitions:
  • EOL period—The time frame that runs from the day McAfee announces product discontinuation, until the last date that McAfee formally supports the product. In general, after the EOL period is announced, no enhancements are made.
  • EOL date—The last day that the product is supported, according to the terms of the McAfee standard support offering.
