McAfee Application and Change Control (MACC) 8.x, 7.x, 6.2.x
McAfee Agent 5.0.4

High CPU usage occurs in MASVC.EXE with Solidcore installed, despite Solidcore being correctly added to the virus scanner exclusions list.

System performance slows significantly. The Solidcore Solidification process slows down. MASVC.EXE uses 100% CPU.

High CPU usage occurs in MASVC.EXE with McAfee Agent, VirusScan Enterprise for Linux, and Firewall for Linux installed.

MACC prevents unapproved changes to the file system, and prevents applications from running unless they are on an approved list of updaters.

Update McAfee Agent to version 5.0.5.
