The
Relaxed Removable Media Definition feature enhancement prevents local drives from being displayed as removable media. Also, enhancements have been made to always make sure that the system boot drive is never treated as removable media.
To relax the removable media definition, add the following registry entry on the client system:

- Do not run a REG file that is not confirmed to be a genuine registry import file.
- Click Start, Run, type regedit, and click OK.
- Navigate to the following location:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MfeEEFF
- Right-click on RelaxedRemovableMediaDefinition, and click Modify.
- Set the value data according to the following table:
NOTE: The default value is set to 1.

- Restart the system.
