McAfee Advanced Threat Defense (ATD)

McAfee announces the End of Life (EOL) for the Advanced Threat Defense ATD-3000 and ATD-6000 appliances, effective on July 10, 2022.

These appliances have been replaced with new models that are available for sale: ATD-3100 and ATD-6100

McAfee recommends that all customers with ATD-3000 or ATD-6000 appliances consider migrating to a supported solution before the EOL date to maintain support and take advantage of the latest product enhancements. This option is just one of many deployment options for the Advanced Threat Defense solution. McAfee continues to sell, support, and actively develop other deployment options, including:
  • The latest generation of ATD hardware appliances: ATD-3100 and ATD-6100
  • ATD deployed as a virtual machine-based appliance (ESXi is currently supported)
