After a system reboot, users receive a Windows prompts to trust the McAfee Host IPS binary SecCtrFw.exe:

You should only run apps that come from publishers you trust.

C:\Program Files\McAfee\Host Intrusion Prevention\SecCtrFw.exe


This is expected behavior. Windows 10 prompts users to run third-party binaries. The McAfee Host IPS binary SecCtrFw.exe is registered to communicate with Windows Security Center (WSC). WSC invokes SecCtrFw.exe with various switches to handle firewall-related requests.
