Events are not parsed after MSXML4 is removed and migrated to MSXML6

最終更新: 7/23/2020 環境
McAfee VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.8 with/without For details of VSE supported environments, see KB51111. 問題
After you migrate from MSXML4 to MSXML6 on the ePO server, the VSE reporting extension fails to allow events to be parsed from the VSE clients. No events appear on the Threat Events page. 原因
Microsoft does not support MSXML4 due to a security vulnerability. ePO does not need MSXML 4. But, it is included to provide legacy support for some older managed product extensions. After these extensions are retired, ePO will not need MSXML 4. It will no longer be included in future versions of ePO. 解決策
VSE 8.8 This issue is resolved in VirusScan Enterprise 8.8 Update 10, which is available from the Product Downloads site at: https://www.mcafee.com/enterprise/en-us/downloads/my-products.html. NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number for access. See KB56057 - How to download Enterprise product updates and documentation for more information about the Product Downloads site, and alternate locations for some products. Updates are cumulative; Technical Support recommends that you install the latest one. VSE 8.8 Patch 16 is the latest patch available from the Downloads tab on the ServicePortal at https://support.mcafee.com/downloads.
NOTE: VSE 8.8 Patch 16 supports all supported Windows operating systems. 関連情報
