McAfee Agent (MA) 5.5.0
McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.x

McAfee Agent update policies do not display correctly, after upgrading the MA extension from 5.0.x to 5.5.0, or when policies are imported.

Checkboxes in the MA policy, Updates tab, are disabled.

Web browsers store copies of the most frequently accessed pages, content, and files, so that they load faster.

Immediately after upgrading the MA extension from 5.0.x to 5.5.x, or when policies of an older agent extension are imported to the latest agent extension, a browser caching issue might occur. Files from the previous MA extension version in the browser cache, cause display problems on the browser interface, for MA update policies.

Clear the web browser cache.

NOTE: The web browser cache might require clearing on each individual system or user account, that has previously accessed the ePO console.

Or, update the browser cache with the following steps, for your web browser:

Internet Explorer:
Press and hold CTRL + F5 to refresh the web browser cache.

Mozilla Firefox:
Windows: CTRL + SHIFT + R
Press ALT+CMD+E.

Google Chrome:
  1. Click the wrench icon on the browser toolbar.
  2. Click Tools.
  3. Select Clear Browser Data.
  4. Select the types of data to be deleted and the amount of data to be deleted.
