ENSLTP 10.5.x introduces the Access Protection feature. This feature allows legacy Host IPS for Linux policies to be migrated for use with Access Protection, or rebuilt under the Access Protection policy. As a result, the process of upgrading to ENSLTP 10.5.x or later removes Host IPS for Linux 8.0 or later from the system.
Scenario 1: When ENSLTP 10.2.x and Host IPS for Linux are installed on a system, and you upgrade to ENSLTP 10.5.x or later, Host IPS for Linux is removed from the system. If only Host IPS for Linux is installed on a system, and you install ENSLTP 10.5.x or later, Host IPS for Linux is removed from the system.
Scenario 2: When ENSLTP 10.5.x or later is installed on the system, and you try to install Host IPS for Linux, the installation fails.
