Windows does
not allow formatting of USB devices that are greater than 32 GB with
FAT32. Devices that are 32 GB or larger that are formatted in
FAT32 can experience FRP initialization issues.
Although
FAT32 can handle greater than 32 GB, Windows does not allow formatting of devices greater than 32 GB with
FAT32.
During initialization of the USB device for
offsite access encryption, one of the following can be observed:
- The initialization can fail.
- Initialization is successful. But, it then fails to copy all files needed for access to the device on systems that do not have FRP installed.
The following error can be seen in this situation:
Couldn't copy on the device the application files required to access the encrypted device in a system with no FRP installed.
