To add a DML Audit:
- Open the System Tree.
- Open the Systems Details page for the DBMS.
NOTE: Each DBMS has a different entry; do not confuse it with a computer or Agent entry in system tree.
- Click Actions, Database Monitoring (DAM), Add DML Audit.
- You are prompted for credentials to make the connection to the DBMS.
Enter database credentials with logon access to DBMS.
- Click Next to display the next relevant field to be populated.
- Fill the database fields for Database, Table, and column.
- Continue to populate the needed information until you reach the options field that contains Trigger Action and DBMS Scan Assignment.
- In the Trigger Action section, configure an interval for delaying execution of a database transaction.
- Set the option to display the audit results on the DML Audit tab of the Database Security Events page.
- Move to the DMS Scan Assignment field.
- Locate the default DML scan and select Assign DBMS.
NOTE: If you do not select this option, the audit results are stored in a database table, but are not visible in the user interface.
8. When all relevant fields are populated, click
Save and exit the context Window.
To view the DML Audit:
Click
Reporting,
Database Security Events,
DML Audit Management.
To remove the DML Audit:
- Click Menu, Reporting, Database Security Events.
- Select the DML Audit Management tab.
- Select the DML audit to be removed.
- Click Actions, Remove DML Audit.
