In addition to running the V3 DAT as is, there are several command-line switches that allow you to change the way the executable runs.
V3 DAT files usually have the following naming convention:
V3_nnnn.EXE (where
nnnn is a numeric value)
Example:
V3_4482dat.exe
Command-line Switches Syntax:
Use the following switches to change the way the V3 DAT executable runs.
V3_nnnn
dat.exe [
/extract [directory path]] [
/version] [
/log [file path]] [
/extra [directory path]] [
/silent] [
/help]
- /extract [directory path] - Extract packaged files into the specified directory path
- /version - Display the AMCore content version information
- /log [file path] - Log the status into the specified file
- /extra [directory path] - Also update Extra.DAT content from the specified directory path
- /silent - Update the V3 DAT in silent mode
- /help - Display the help
