In addition to running the V3 DAT as is, there are several command-line switches that allow you to change the way the executable runs.

V3 DAT files usually have the following naming convention:

V3_nnnn.EXE (where nnnn is a numeric value)

Example: V3_4482dat.exe

Command-line Switches Syntax:
Use the following switches to change the way the V3 DAT executable runs.

V3_nnnndat.exe [/extract [directory path]] [/version] [/log [file path]] [/extra [directory path]] [/silent] [/help]

• /extract [directory path] - Extract packaged files into the specified directory path
• /version - Display the AMCore content version information
• /log [file path] - Log the status into the specified file
• /extra [directory path] - Also update Extra.DAT content from the specified directory path
• /silent - Update the V3 DAT in silent mode
• /help - Display the help
