How to install Application Control on a standalone system (not managed by ePO)

McAfee Application and Change Control (MACC) 8.x, 7.x, 6.x

To install MACC on a standalone system that ePO doesn’t manage:

Verify the compatibility article and download the package accordingly. For environment information, see KB87944 - Supported platforms for Application and Change Control.
Download the latest standalone package from the Product Downloads site using your authorized grant number and email address.
Unzip the package.
Run the setup file as administrator based on your operating system and bit operating system.
For example: setup-win-8-10-2012-amd64-8.3.0.303
Read and accept the terms and conditions. You can enter the User name and organization details with the license key in the fields provided.
NOTE: You don't have to add license information during the installation. You can install the product without this information and the license key. All information can be added later after the product is installed.
After the product is installed, you see an icon on your desktop named McAfee Solidifier Command Line. You can open the command line and type sadmin version. The version that is installed on your system then displays.
