SummaryA campaign targeted users with spam emails claiming the victims trial entertainment subscription will end soon. The email instructed the user to call the phone number listed. A fake customer service representative directed the victim to an actor-controlled website. The user was convinced to download and open a Microsoft Excel document which in turned infected the victim's system with BazaLoader. The McAfee Enterprise ATR Team gathers and analyzes information from multiple open and closed sources before disseminating intelligence reports.
