Manually assigned tags aren’t removed and you can't move tags to a Tag Group

Environment

ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10 Update 11, 12

Problem

You can observe the two issues below after you upgrade to ePO 5.10 Update 11.

Issue 1 — Manually assigned tags aren’t removed when a tag criteria isn’t met. You can see this issue when you select the following options from the tag catalog menu:

Apply tag now to systems that match the criteria
Reset manually tagged and excluded systems

Issue 2 — You’re unable to move Tags to a Tag Group:

Drag-and-drop Tags don’t function

Cause

You upgraded to ePO 5.10 Update 11 or 12.

Solution

This issue is resolved in ePO 5.10.0 Update 13, which is available from either the Software Catalog or the Product Downloads site.

Workaround 1

Tag removal issue:

Log on to the ePO Console.
Click Menu, Systems, Tag Catalog.
Instead of editing the tag and running Apply tag now, run the Tag Criteria from the drop-down list.

Workaround 2

Drag-and-drop Tag issue:

Log on to the ePO Console.
Click Menu, Systems, Tag Catalog.
Re-create the Tag in the correct Tag Group.
