Policies are not applied to endpoints which have Carbon Black is installed

Environment

Carbon Black (third-party antivirus product)
Problem
The McAfee Agent policies created in ePO are received, but not applied to the enterprise endpoint.
Review of the Agent logs don’t show any errors related to policy operation or Carbon Black activities.
The issue is seen on systems that have the third-party application Carbon Black installed.
Cause
The third-party application Carbon Black prevents McAfee Agent from applying the endpoint policies.
Solution
Add the exclusion below to the third-party application:
*:\Program Files\McAfee\**
