Summary
Description of Campaign The Lazarus APT threat group targeted users looking for career opportunities in the defense sector with phishing emails containing malicious attachments. The macro-embedded documents appeared to come from Lockheed Martin and communicated with command and control servers located on GitHub. Successful infections resulted in the exfiltration of sensitive information to the C2 servers. Our ATR Team gathers and analyzes information from multiple open and closed sources before disseminating intelligence reports. This campaign was researched by Malwarebytes and shared publicly.
