McAfee SNS Notice: Microsoft Windows May 2019 Update Affects McAfee Products
SNS Emails ID:   SNS1990
Last Modified:  5/23/2019

The recent Microsoft Windows May 2019 update introduces a change in Windows behavior that has a critical impact on process initialization, impacting several security software vendors including McAfee. After installing the Windows May 2019 update, slow boot times and performance issues have been seen with Endpoint Security for Windows, Host Intrusion Prevention, and VirusScan Enterprise product lines.

This is the same issue previously reported with the Microsoft Windows April 2019 update and thus the resolution is the same.  If you have corrected this issue after the April update, no further action is necessary.
